Designed by Patricia Urquiola, Andreu World’s new Bolete Lounge BIO collection of lounge chairs is reminiscent of mid-century design and pop culture. The ergonomic lounge chairs, which can be used individually or joined together to form a curved sofa, are staple furniture pieces with comfort and style at the forefront of their design. One of the chair’s most notable features is Mambo Lounge BIO’s organically shaped central base with its expressive textures and grooves. For maximum comfort and body support, the backrest of the seat is designed to adapt to the body, which offers ideal support for different characteristics and sitting postures. Bolete Lounge BIO ’s upholstery, which is offered in a variety of fabrics, envelops the foundation of the seat and back, creating the ultimate ergonomic seating option. It is made of 100% natural origin BIO® thermopolymer, 100% recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable making it an environmentally friendly piece at the end of its lifecycle.
