BIOS Lighting SkyView™ Desk Lamp

The BIOS Lighting SkyView™ Air is a nominal 10” x 7” x1/2” portable lighting fixture that does more than provide visible light. SkyView Air delivers true circadian lighting benefits that help enhance mood, focus, productivity, and alertness. The product contains custom LED spectrum sets that provide physiological benefits, meets WELL Building V2 L03 for circadian lighting, and provides standard task lighting. Max output is 1000 delivered lumens, 12W, UL Listed, with CRI >91 and mDER of 1.2. The product dims from 10% to 100% and has foldable legs that stand for work mode and twist closed for travel, providing flexibility.

Most tunable white products shift between warm and cool color temperatures, changing appearance without necessarily delivering circadian benefit. BIOS SkyView Air uses patented blue sky gradient LED technology to support biological lighting more efficiently. In Daytime mode, it enhances cyan-blue wavelengths associated with blue-sky daylight, stimulating non-visual photoreceptors that influence circadian rhythm, alertness, focus, mood, and wellbeing. In Nighttime mode, blue wavelengths are minimized to support melatonin production and the body’s natural transition toward sleep.

The result is functional white light with targeted circadian performance in one simple, built-in control system that makes advanced biological lighting intuitive, portable, and easy to use.
